Trademate Sports Review
-
Trademate Sports, previously known as edgebet.net is a web-based platform that identifies and displays value bets and the stake amount that should be placed. Taking into consideration the bookmaker margin and the difference in odds, particularly in regard to market-driven, high-liquidity bookmakers, Trademate identifies lines, where you have an edge over the bookies.
In the long term, placing stakes on value bets means realizing a profit from sports betting. From this point of view, Trademate’s value betting software is close to the arbitrage softwares out there. Both identify opportunities from wrongly-estimated odds. However, while arbing attempts betting at 0% risk, the profits associated are almost certain, but low. With value betting, there is a greater risk involved. However, the % profit is higher, the risk of being limited by a bookmaker is also significantly lower.
Trademate Sports Unique Features
What we most love about Trademate Sports is that it is made by sports bettors for sports bettors. We believe that one must be personally involved in an industry to understand it and make products that are useful. This is exactly the case with Trademate - it is a tool that indeed spots value bets, but it is also very easy to use and extremely intuitive.
The team has put an excellent support service - they have a wide variety of free resources that will improve your game. They are also quick to answer and very helpful.
Lastly, there is great control. You can set the bookmakers you use, the individual bankroll, select leagues where you wish to identify value bets and the system will alert you with the available opportunities.
Software Interface
You don’t have to have much experience with betting to operate Trademate Sports - this is as simple as it gets. There is a main Dashboard that displays a summary of your activities - the number of bets by bookmaker, your performance and winnings. It also has links to everything you need.
If you need more detailed information about your trades, you can view them in the ‘My Trades’ section. Bets get graded by Trademate automatically and will show as Won, Lost or Void after the event is over. You can open each trade to review it and see the actual result of the match, change it, mark the trade as void or delete it.
The Analytics page is a great place to see details about your performance and the expected return.
The main page that you will be spending time on is the Tradefeed. It shows the available opportunities (value bets) as they come out. There are some default presets, but you are free to set your own, as well. Following recent changes, in 2018, the engine of Tradesmate identifies up to 5 time more bets than the previous one.
Bookmakers:
Bookmakers depend on the plan you select. The cheapest Nordics version will only give you access to Nordics local bookmakers. The standard option Trademate Core offers value bets with a number of bookmakers (including all the most popular ones - bet365, 188bet, Betfair, William Hill, 10Bet, Unibet, Marathonbet and many more). As of February 2018, the number of soft bookmakers offered has risen to 110 (from 60). To be able to access value bet opportunities with high-limit bookmakers (SBO, IBC and ISN), you have to purchase Trademate Pro.
NEW FEATURE: Real-Time Result Updates
In the beginning of 2018, Trademate did a few improvements, adding more features to their platform. Following the game is now easier. Trademate have included live updates on the score and a few of the key statistics, including shots on target (football) , 3 pointers (in basketball), aces (tennis) and more. The updates happen in real-time.
NEW FEATURE: Odds Comparison
As of February 2018, Trademate lets you compare the odds of all supported bookmakers, allowing you to find the best odds available for the most important markets, such as 1x2, AH or EH. As of February 2018, Trademate have included 1st half bets (football), quarter bets (basketball and set bets (tennis). If you are using Trademate Pro, it will also indicates which ones are value bets. What is even better, is the option to register custom trades, using the odds from the odds comparison tool.
A great addition is the option to see odds movement in the time before you register a bet with Trademate.
A Step-by-Step Guide to Trademate Core
What’s exciting about Trademate Core is that you can get started in less than 10 minutes from registering. You can see more about how it works in Trademate Core video tutorial:
The first step is setting your profile. You can select the odds format, currency and the bankroll management - we recommend starting out with low risk Kelly bet sizing of 30%.
The next thing to do is to select bookmakers. Go to ‘My Bookmakers’ and select the bookmakers you want to use (i.e. have accounts with), enter your bankroll for each and select your currency. The more bookmakers you enter, the more opportunities there will be. You will notice that as you are adding the individual bookmaker bankroll, your overall bank in the top left corner will change to reflect what you entered.
After this has been setup, it’s time for value bet opportunities. Go to the Tradefeed and get started.
Trademate Sports recommend having at least two presets, being:
Recommended preset

▪ Time before kickoff: 0-7 hours
All leagues preset

▪ Odds types: all
▪ Edge range: 2 - 10%

But feel free to add more as you wish.
Select an opportunity that you wish to follow. A pop-up will show the current odds and recommended stake. Open the website of the bookmaker and find that line. If you notice that the odds are different, make sure you change them in Trademate and see if there is still a positive edge. If so, place your bet and register the trade with Trademate.
After the event is over, your trade will be graded automatically and will appear in your list of settled trades and account to your Profit/Loss.
Notifications
For each of your presets, you can select to get sound or desktop notifications when a new opportunity appears. You can also choose to get Slack notifications, which is handy, particularly if you are using the software on your mobile phone.
Customer Support
Trademate Sports have excellent customer support. They have plenty of resources on their blog that will help you with being more profitable. If you are stuck, you can use their Live Chat and get help - the team is very friendly and willing to assist.
Trademate Pro
A solution for the pro bettors, Trademate Pro offers access to 3 Asian bookmakers, in addition to the standard list - SBO, ISN and IBC (Maxbet). This means plenty of opportunities to make money on high limits. In addition, Trademate offers 24/7 support to its Pro members and a Constructive Analysis tool that provides suggestions for improving returns. Recommended starting bankroll for this service is 20 000€, so it is not for everyone. Nonetheless, it is what the high-rollers definitely need to consider. You can see more about how it works in Trademate Pro video tutorial:
Pricing
The regular Trademate Core is priced at 120€ / month, which is on the pricey side. Having said that, if your bankroll is over 2 000€, it shouldn’t be a problem to cover for that fee. Anything lower than that and it’s not worth it. Once you have tried it and are making steady profits, you can switch to the quarterly payment and save 20% per month.
The Trademate Pro is priced at 400€, which might sound like a lot, but keep in mind that this product is tailored at people with a bankroll of over 20 000€. Any return of over 2% and you have that covered.
FREE VERSION: In 2018, Trademate have decided to open the door for people on a budget, offering a free version that includes an odds comparison tool, a tool to keep stats for your bets and live score updates.
Conclusion
Trademate Sports have developed something that is possibly better than arbitrage software - it carries slightly more risk, but is also more profitable. Trademate identifies value bets and displays them with the stake you should use, making it extremely easy to follow. The software generates steady profit and can be set up in less than 10 minutes. It works flawlessly on mobile and has different options for setting notifications. The only drawback is the relatively high price, which makes it unsuitable for recreational bettors with tiny bankrolls.
